Mall of America® is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its Nickelodeon Universe® amusement park in 2018 with exciting visitor promotions throughout spring and summer. Nickelodeon Universe is the largest indoor theme park in North America featuring 30 exciting rides for guests of all ages. Over 40 million people from around the world visit Mall of America yearly which is located by the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP), a gateway to the Real America region.
Nickelodeon Universe will celebrate a decade of thrills, slime and good times! Guests will enjoy special events, daily meet + greets with Sponge Bob and other popular Nickelodeon characters and other unique experiences. The park is fully enclosed under a glass ceiling so guests feel like being outdoors while being weather protected.
Families experience hours of fun at other Mall of America attractions too including an aquarium, LEGO®, zip line, mirror maze, miniature golf, FlyOver America, the Escape Game, Crayola® Experience, Build-A-Bear Workshop, American Girl® and SMAAASH – multi-level go karting racing and virtual reality experiences. No other destination offers so many family activities under one roof.
The attractions complement Mall of America’s 520 stores offering designer brands from around the world for apparel, shoes, jewelry, accessories and more with no sales tax on clothing or shoes. Over 25 new stores will open this spring and summer to provide even greater gift selection.
The Mall also features 50 restaurants, nightclubs, live music and 400 annual events.
In addition, guests enjoy the convenience of two Mall of America on-site hotels: JW Marriott and Radisson Blu. Both offer luxurious accommodations, award-winning restaurants and complimentary guest package pick-up. Visitors can be anywhere in the Mall at any time and have their shopping bags picked-up and brought back to their rooms so they can continue to shop, dine or play.
Mall of America is connected to downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul by convenient light rail service.
